César Veloso Palma

César Veloso Palma. ICO Board Member

Born in Seville in 1972, he has a degree in Economics and Business Sciences from the University of Seville, and has taken a Senior Management Course in the Agrifood Sector at the School for Industrial Organisation (EOI) and a Postgraduate Course in Banking Economics at the University of Seville.

He began his career at Caja San Fernando de Sevilla y Jerez, before joining the financial department of Scania Hispania as Controller and reporting to the parent company, and later became Finance Manager for the Master Cadena retail group.

After this time in the private sector, he was a Technical Consultant, Advisor and Senior Advisor in various Andalusian Regional Government Departments (Public Works and Transportation; Housing and Land Management; Health; Health and Social Welfare; and Equality, Health and Social Policies). In 2014 he joined the Institute of Studies on the Public Treasury of Andalusia Foundation as a Consultant Economist, working on the analysis and study of economic governance, budgetary stability, financial sustainability, rationalisation and sustainability of the Public Administration.

This has been combined with his entrepreneurial activity in the distribution, renewable energies and language tourism sectors.
