  • This investment is made through Fond-ICO Sustainability and Infrastructures, one of four investment vehicles used by Axis.

Axis, the venture capital company of Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), has approved an investment of up to EUR 50 million in Capital Dynamics Clean Energy platform.

The Platform invests in power generation plants (photovoltaic, wind, hybridisation) in Europe. The investment will be made into a vehicle classified as Article 9, according to EU's Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.

The participation of Axis is channelled through its Fond-ICO Sustainability and Infrastructures (FISI), which promotes investment in sustainable infrastructure assets, placing the priority on strategic niches within the energy, mobility, environment and social infrastructure sectors, always seeking a clear positive impact for people, the climate and the environment. To date, the Fund has already invested more than EUR 300 million.

The capital invested by AXIS will come from the Next Generation funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, aimed at promoting projects that boost the green transition, among other objectives.
