Opening of the II International Program for Financial Institutions Executives
Irene Garrido, Chairwoman of ICO and Fundación ICO, and Joaquín Uribarri, CEO of IE Business School, launched on 24th of November the II International Program for Financial Institutions Executives, sponsored by Fundación ICO. The opening ceremony took place at Museo ICO.
This program, organized by ICO through its Fundación and in cooperation with IE Business School, seeks to provide participants with a global view of the public banking sector and to analyze the new scenarios of the development finance sector, as well as its impact in organizations and financial institutions. The program will address a wide range of topics, from the role of development banking as an intermediary in the financial map of the 21st century to the new instruments for the mitigation of risks or Basel III Regulation. Methodology will include master classes and case studies, encouraging debate among participants.
During this second edition 22 executives and senior managers from 13 different countries, on behalf of 16 national and multinational financial institutions, will participate. The program will have a duration of three days and will take place at IE Business School premises. IE Business School won the public tender that took place last March to provide the designing and delivery of the Program.
