ICO participates in the annual Eurofi meeting in Malta
The Chief Financial Officer, Fernando Navarrete, and the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Javier Agudo, participated in the annual Eurofi High Level Seminar 2017 held in Malta from 5 to 7 April, on the prospects of the European Union at a time of great changes.
At this meeting, attended by more than 600 representatives from European public authorities and the financial sector, Fernando Navarrete took part in a panel discussion on measures to stimulate productive investment in Europe. He also contributed to the "Eurofi magazine" with an article on the Investment Plan in Europe.
Eurofi is a not-for-profit organization created in 2000 that serves as a platform for exchanges between the financial services industry and the public authorities addressing issues related to financial regulation and banking supervision and the economic and monetary context of the European Union.
The main objective of Eurofi is to help representatives of European authorities and the financial sector to understand their different viewpoints about the regulation and supervision of financial services and to find potential solutions to enhance the effectiveness of the EU financial sector and its contribution to economic growth.
