ICO holds the 3rd International Programme for Executives from Financial Institutions
The Chairwoman of ICO and Fundación ICO, Irene Garrido; the Director of Executive Education at the IE Business School,
Joaquín Uribarri; and the academic director for the programme, Fernando Fernández, today opened the 3rd International Programme for Executives from Financial Institutions.
This course, sponsored by Fundación ICO and organised in partnership with the IE Business School, is designed to provide an in-depth analysis of the current situation of development banking and its contribution to the global economy.
This year the programme focuses on the theme "Investing for Growth". The speakers will discuss various subjects, including the changes in financial markets caused by the crisis, improvements in technology systems, issuing social bonds and green bonds, and the Basel III regulations. There will be master classes and practical analysis of case studies, encouraging debate and discussion among the participants.
This year 24 senior executives from 14 different countries are taking part, representing 16 national and multilateral financial institutions. The three days of the course will take place at the IE Business School, which in 2015 won the public tender to design and teach the course.
